‘Kingdom Hearts 3’ promises over 80 hours of content

Square Enix

If you want to get the full Kingdom of Hearts 3 experience, prepare to spend over 80 hours playing the game. If you’re sticking with the main campaign, you’ll get around 40 to 50 hours of gameplay. Now, if you want to play the mini-games, Geek.com reports that you better be prepared to play almost double of that. Some of the mini games you can play include a Ratatouille-based cooking game and "20 different old-school Tiger Toys/Game & Watch style 2D side scrolling games based on Mickey cartoons from the 1930s and 40s." Kingdom Hearts 3 is set to come out on January 29, 2019 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Square Enix just unveiled at E3 2018 an extended gameplay preview of Shadow of the Tomb Raider. We find Lara making her way to the enemy camp in a lush jungle with her needing to become “one with the jungle” to take down her enemies, the global-domination-seeking Trinity. According to Daniel Chayer-Bisson, senior game director at Eidos-Montréal, there will be new elements such as grappling hooks, wall running, and even “full 360-degree swimming.” Shadow of the Tomb Raider is set to launch on the Sony PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on September 14, 2018.

‘Kingdom Hearts III’ still doesn’t have a release date, enters ‘Monsters Inc.’ world

For fans of the game, we finally have some updates for the upcoming Kingdom Hearts III game. Square Enix unveiled a new trailer and song for the title during D23 Expo Japan 2018, whetting our appetites for its impending release. Unfortunately, we don’t get an exact date yet of when the game is coming out. All the teasers still have “Coming 2018.” Square Enix CEO Yosuke Matsuda hinted that the release could come at or before E3 conference in June, so we could expect the game to be out for the holidays. The game will be released on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

What we do get is a new trailer. As we see in the clip above, there’s a new world coming to this popular Disney x Final Fantasy crossover: the Monsters Inc. world. The game also gets a new theme song from Japanese Pop superstar Hikaru Utada called “Don’t Think Twice.” She has also done the theme songs for the first two games. Series director Tetsuya Nomura showed some behind-the-scenes clips at D23 that detailed the production and design of Kingdom Hearts III. One thing showed was how you can fly the Gummi ship through an open-world, 360-degree space.
