Issue voice commands for Sphero's BB-8 on Android

Sphero's BB-8 droid was missing the ability to take voice commands on Android. Now, that's changed as a new update for its Android app allows for voice interaction. You can now command your little droid to "go explore," among other things. The latest app update also fixes some communication issues between the smartphones and droids. It's also now compatible with more Android phones and tablets.

Superfans awaken early for their #ForceFriday haul

Yesterday, the world's first ever global live Star Wars: The Force Awakens toy unboxing event was unleashed by Disney just a few months ahead of the highly anticipated film release. The event unfolded over 18 hours in 15 cities and 12 countries revealing the epic line up of never-before-seen toys causing fans to explode with excitement.

The roll-out announcements were viewed via live stream on the Star Wars YouTube channel and featured online personalities including Einshine (Tokyo), Reyst (Berlin), GamingBeaver (London), EvanTubeHD (New York), Quill18 (Toronto), ExpCaseros (Mexico City), and many more. Chris Pirillo finished off the announcements in San Francisco.

The Millennium Falcon drone is real and will be on sale tomorrow

Star Wars fans will be able to fly their own Millenium Falcon thanks to a quadcopter made by Air Hogs. Going on sale at midnight in time for Force Awakens toys onslaught for "Force Friday". The Falcon was demoed together with a remote control X-Wing Fighter during a pre FanExpo event as part of the global unboxing of Star Wars merchandise going on sale.

Made of lightweight foam and with four propellers, the Millenium Falcon has a range of 200 feet, it seems highly maneuverable. Pricing is expected to be CAD $125.00
