We already know that the sequel of animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse got a new release date. But it looks like Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures moved around a few more films to give each title more attention and time in the box office. The third Spider-Man film, which will follow Spider-Man: Far from Home, gets moved from July 16, 2021, to November 5, 2021. While Uncharted, which also stars Spider-Man actor Tom Holland, gets the July 16 release date.

Holland was scheduled to start shooting Uncharted ahead of the new Spider-Man movie, but it got shut down last month because of the COVID-19 pandemic. And it looks like Sony wants to finish shooting Uncharted first after all.

Christian Bale will play a villain in 'Thor: Love and Thunder'

The Dark Knight will soon find himself playing a villain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Christian Bale has been confirmed to play the antagonist in Thor: Love and Thunder film. Tessa Thompson, who plays Valkyrie in the Thor series, shared the news with ET, saying she's read the script from the upcoming installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and discovered that her character and Chris Hemsworth's Thor would be going up against Bale's still-unknown character. Comingsoon.net speculates that he could play Balder the Brave.

Thor: Love and Thunder will be directed by Taika Waititi, who also directed the successful Thor: Ragnarok. Natalie Portman will be reprising her role as Jane Foster, but this time she'll be taking on the part as female Thor, too. This storyline is based on Jason Aaron's run on "The Mighty Thor," where a cancer-stricken Jane takes up Thor's mantle and gains his powers, too.
