Venom gets new trailer, finally has titular anti-hero in it

This isn’t the first trailer for Sony Pictures’ upcoming Venom movie but it might as well be. The first trailer didn’t show Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock turn into Venom at all. Finally though, we get a better glimpse at Brock and how he comes to terms with the powers he’s received from the symbiote. The trailer might seem to have put a lot of key plot points that could be touched on in the film so those who are spoiler-averse might want to avoid this. The film is coming out on October 5^th and no it won’t crossover into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, in case you were wondering.

‘Dear White People’ Season 2 gets release date, teases season in new trailer

Haven’t heard of the Netflix show Dear White People? Well, the show is getting a second season and its new teaser helps explain what the show is about to you. You can watch the 53-second clip above. The second season has Logan Browning’s Sam back on the radio and what looks like her trying to dismantle cultural perceptions yet again. You also see the likes of Lena Waithe, Todrick Hall, Brandon Bell, DeRon Horton, Antoinette Robertson, Marque Richardson, among others. Dear White People Vol. 2 comes to Netflix on May 4.

‘Deadpool 2’ gets new trailer

Avengers: Infinity War isn’t the only big superhero movie you’ll be seeing soon. The irreverent Deadpool 2 is also hitting theaters starting May 18^th and the film gets a new trailer. In signature Deadpool style, we get more of Deadpool’s wisecracks, tons of gore and violence, and meta-commentary on the nature of superhero films—which are the things fans of the original film have come to expect. The new trailer introduces a new group of superheroes he assembles called the X-Force, which Deadpool freely admits is a derivative name. We see the likes of Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead but there are some new faces, too.

‘Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2’ gets first trailer

If you haven’t seen the 2012 Disney film Wreck-It Ralph, the story followed a pair of classic arcade game characters who were looking for the purpose behind their programming and somehow ended up discovering more about themselves in the process. What happens when they end up being hooked up to the internet for the very first time? That’s the premise behind Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2. We have Ralph (played by John C. Reilly) and Vanellope (Sarah Silverman) on another adventure but this time in the expansive, somewhat dangerous, and incredibly addictive World Wide Web. As The Verge points out, it looks like the film carries on with the nice undercurrent of satire with this film and we’re excited to see it. It hits theatres on November 21, 2018.
