Sony will bring 'Uncharted 4' to the PC

Sony

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End will no longer be a Sony PlayStation-exclusive game. In a report presented to its investors, Sony has shared that the title will be heading to the PC. It's part of a strategy to find new fans for the IP and reach new geographies. Days Gone arrived on Steam on May 19, so Uncharted might follow suit. Aside from using these two titles as new growth vectors, Sony believes its mobile efforts will also bring new audiences. The company plans to bring its "most popular franchises" to mobile, as seen through a job ad posted earlier this year.

In the same report, Sony told investors it is expecting to break even on the standard edition of the PS5 this June and become profitable in the months after that.

Sony cuts as much as $20 off PlayStation Now, introduces new games to service

Sony's game streaming service PlayStation Now gets a price cut across the different subscription options. It's now $12.99 per month instead of $19.99; $34.99 per quarter instead of $44.99; and $79.99 per year instead of $99.99. The company wants to offer "a more compelling price that is comparable to other entertainment streaming services on the market." Sony boasts that with over 800 games, it provides the most extensive library of any console game subscription service.

The company is also offering new games that are available starting today, October 1, 2019, until January 2, 2020. These include God of War, Grand Theft Auto V, inFAMOUS Second Son, and Uncharted 4: A Thief's End. Sony had an additional note for GTAV. It said, "Grand Theft Auto V is available to download and stream via PS Now at launch; Grand Theft Auto Online and Rockstar Games Social Club will be available for users that download GTAV at launch. Online features, including Grand Theft Auto Online and Rockstar Games Social Club, are currently only available in the downloaded version."
