Chat up your Web browser with new Bing update

It won’t be long until you’ll be able to have a conversation with your Web browser with the new Bing update. Microsoft is letting users ask follow up questions with this new feature. For example, you can ask the Bing who is leading the F1 driver’s championship at the moment. And then follow that up with “How old is he?” Bing should be able to pick up on your previous question. Google has something similar to this but at least Bing users will now have the option to hold conversations with their browsers.

Minimalistic text editor Writebox syncs with the cloud

If you are in search of a plain text editor on your browser or on your Android or iOS devices, Writebox is worth a look, especially since it syncs with Dropbox and Google Drive. Writebox syncs your text files to these cloud services and across all the devices you use so you’d get the latest version of your file. The app is as simple a text editor as you can expect without formatting tools. The most you can do is set font and size. But some of us would need just that. You can also download the file as text or HTML. Writebox is free from the Chrome Web Store or for online but costs $1.99 for Android and iOS versions.

Twitter adds emoji support for Web

Keen to see the emojis your friends have been posting when you’re on your Web browser? Twitter has just added support for emojis on its desktop and web version. According to Mashable, the image quality is lesser on the web than what you see on your mobile. But they are not sure if it supports Tweetdeck since it works for some of their employees and not for others.

Vine brings full profiles, TV mode online

Twitter’s six-second video app Vine has finally been ported online to allow you to check your feed, share, like and comment on videos as well as browse through the body of work of your favorite Vine users.

While you still can’t record videos using your webcam, at least you can view your favorite clips in TV mode. This new feature allows you to watch a user’s clips consecutively and in full screen mode. You can skip through videos with the arrow buttons or just watch every single Vine a user posts.
