RIM releases Software Update 2.1 for BlackBerry PlayBook

RIM released BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.1. This update, which is available for the Wi-Fi-only BlackBerry PlayBook tablet, offers a range of new capabilities and security features for consumers, enterprises and developers. Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi Honeycomb tablet announced for sale in US for $599

March 27 is a big day for anyone in the US waiting for the contract-free Wi-Fi only version of the Motorola Xoom Honeycomb tablet. Said to be available for US$600 in Amazon, Best Buy, Costco, RadioShack, Sam's Club, Staples and Walmart, the Xoom eschews the 3G and 4G components of the Verizon version but will still have all the same specs like the 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a 5 megapixel autofocus camera, and a 10.1-inch display with 1280 x 800 resolution.

Virgin America is headed to Toronto this Summer

 

The airline known for its cool interior mood lighting, Wi-Fi access and delicious food options is headed to the Great White North. Virgin America announced late Tuesday that it would be debuting its first international route starting this summer with flights to Toronto.
