Nokia rumored to be working on a Windows RT tablet

A Concept Nokia TabletIf Microsoft's Surface RT tablet does not float your boat, maybe Nokia's supposed take on the 10-inch Windows RT space might convert you. A new rumour suggests that Nokia's got a Windows RT tablet in the works and that it will bring a number of innovative features such as extra battery life from the keyboard cover and USB ports that serve as a kickstand. Nokia's not coonfirmed or denied the existence of such a device but we're weeks away from CES where we could likely get our first glimpse of what could be the most compelling reason to get into Windows RT. I think it would be awesome to see a tablet with the build and quality we've seen on the recent Lumia devices.

Rogers now accepting preorders for ATIV S smartphone and ATIV PC Windows devices

Better late than never, Samsung's finally unleashing its contribution to the rekindled Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 operating systems. The Samsung ATIV S is the 4.7-inch smartphone that takes the best features of Samsung's Galaxy S III and makes it available to Windows Phone. The Smart PC is the first convertible tablet/notebook Windows 8 device from Samsung.

One of the most intriguing devices to come out this year, Microsoft’s Surface tablet is Redmond’s answer to the iPad, its big play in the tablet OS space as well as a peek into the future of Windows.

Microsoft’s Surface tablet is the first computing device designed and built by Microsoft. We’ve seen tablets before and we’ve seen notebooks but the Surface exists just within the boundaries of these two types of devices.

Is it as good as or better than tablets or notebooks, or is it just full of compromises. That’s what I tried to find out.
