Video shows how Apple's Mac Pro is built in America

The new Apple Mac Pro professes to be very best desktop for cutting edfe technologies and insane engineering. Expected to turn a lot of heads when it goes on sale at the end of the year, it also has the disctinction of being assembled in the US. The above video shows some of the processes that go into that production and it is quite amazing. A one-off Product (RED) version that's decked out in a crimson colour will be auctioned for Bono's charity.

Mac Pros coming at the end of the year, starting at $2999

Apple is bringing the Mac Pro to market before the end of the year and it will have a starting price of $2999. This is remarkable for a product that defines the cutting edge of processing tehcnology. Offering up to 12 cores of processing power and dual GPUs plus all solid state and high-bandwidth pipeline for blazing fast performance and video editing in full 4K reslution. Apple is pricing the Mac Pro starting at $2999.

Apple updates Mac Pro Line

While Apple's Mac Pro line was not even mentioned during yesterday's WWDC 2012 Keynote, Apple gave some love to their pro line of desktops. The Mac Pros last saw a spec refresh in 2010 so time was ripe for new specs.

There are three Mac Pro computers, ranging from $2,549 to $3,049

At the low end of the spectrum, the cheapest Mac Pro costs $2,549 and has a 3.2-GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon processor along with 6 GB of RAM and 1 Terabyt of storage.

Next is the $3,849 model, which features two 2.4-GHz 6-core Intel Xeon processor, 12 GB of RAM and the same 1 TB drive.

The final version of the Mac Pro is a server version ideal for data centres selling for $3,049 It's equipped with a 3.2GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon processor, 8 GB of RAM and two 1 TB drives of storage.
