Time magazine teams up with OpenAI to 'expand access to trusted info'

Through a multi-year licensing agreement, OpenAI gains access to Time's vast collection of articles, covers, and historical scans. Philips Hue revives and expands decorative Lightguide bulbs

Philips Hue is giving its decorative Lightguide line a second chance! After discontinuing some models in 2022 due to quality issues, they're back with a broader selection and addressing those concerns.

The new Lightguide collection offers a wider variety of shapes to complement your home's décor. In addition to the existing ellipse bulb, you can now choose from small and large globe shapes, an Edison style, and a triangle design. These bulbs provide white and colour ambiance lighting (priced between $109.99 and $134.99 in Canada).

OpenAI releases ChatGPT desktop app for all Mac users

OpenAI has finally made its official ChatGPT app available for all macOS users running macOS Sonoma or later. Previously, it was only accessible to paying subscribers.

The Mac app mirrors the web app's functionality, offering a desktop window for back-and-forth conversations with different AI models. Choose from GPT-3.5, GPT-4, and GPT-4o. And like the web app, it even supports specialized models, like the DALL-E image generator.
