Samsung fixes Android Pie’s issue with its wearables

A few days ago it was being reported that Samsung-branded wearables were not linking correctly with the Samsung Gear Android app after updating to Android Pie. Now, Samsung has addressed this issue and at the same time rebranded the Gear Android app to Galaxy Wearable app. The update will now let you use any Samsung smartwatch, fitness band, or headphones with your Android 9.0 device. Nothing else seems to have changed with the app aside from it shedding the Gear name.
