OnePlus has steadily been updating its product line with the latest version of Android. This time the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T are getting the stable version of Android Pie through OxygenOS 9.0.2. Its beta version was released to community members last month. Some of the features OnePlus 3/3T users can expect include Do Not Disturb with a specific time range, Gaming Mode 3.0, Phone app’s support for Google Duo, and Camera app’s support for Google Lens. Aside from getting the latest version of Android that’s available, the April 2019 security patches are also making their way to these two phones.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 units in Germany get second stable Android Pie update

Review: Samsung Galaxy Note 9

Samsung has slowly been rolling out Android Pie update to different countries for the Galaxy Note 9. Germany gets a second stable update for the phone with software version N960FXXU2CSA2. It’s a 130MB update but it’s unclear what it brings. SamMobile is hoping it brings some unavailable features from the first Android Pie update, such as schedule option for Night mode and being able to record videos in the camera’s Pro mode. What we’re hoping is the update to make its way here.

Samsung releases another Galaxy Note9 Android Pie beta update

Samsung Galaxy Note9 gets its fourth Android Pie beta update. It’s rolling out to users in India, Germany, and South Korea. And it fixes some touch-related issues, including the home button hard press feature not working when the navigation gestures are enabled as well as the keyboard app not responding on the bottom right of the display. Since touch issues are considered critical bugs, this is considered the first hotfix beta for the Galaxy Note9. The Galaxy S9 and S9+ needed a couple of hotfix updates, but hopefully this won’t be the same case for the Note9.

To download the update, go into the Settings > Software update menu on your phone. From there, tap the Download and install option.
