Vancouver-based WildBrain Studios to produce new 'Peanuts' originals for Apple TV+

Vancouver-based WildBrain Studios expands on its partnership with Apple to produce new Peanuts content for Apple TV+. After working on the first season of Snoopy in Space, they will be releasing the show's second season. There will also be new specials with the Peanuts cast for occasions like Mother's Day, New Year's Eve, Back to School, and Earth Day.

The previously announced The Snoopy Show documentary would premiere on February 5, 2021. This 70th-anniversary documentary film was produced by WildBrain and Imagine Documentaries.

For those who want to catch classic Peanuts cartoons, Apple will start streaming the following:

• It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown on October 19, and it will be free for everyone from October 30 - November 1
• A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving on November 18, and it will be free for everyone from November 25 - 27 
• A Charlie Brown Christmas on December 4, and it will be free for everyone from December 11 - 13
