Apple TV app on some LG smart TVs to support Dolby Atmos Sound 'later this year'

Following the news that some 2019 LG smart TVs now support Apple TV and Apple TV+, we get an update that some LG televisions will be getting Dolby Atmos Sound support "later this year." An LG spokesperson confirmed the news. Dolby Atmos technology is designed to give movies and TV shows a more three-dimensional effect. Instead of being constrained to channels, the sound will be precisely placed and moved in a 3D space. Imagine how good those Apple TV shows and films could be.
