Sony unveils Inzone H5 gaming headset

Sony

Are you looking for a new gaming headset offering high-quality sound, comfort, and affordability? If so, you might want to check out the Inzone H5, the latest wireless headset from Sony. The Inzone H5 is an upgrade from the previous Inzone H7 model, with several advantages.

It is more affordable, costing only US$149 (around CA$202) compared to US$229 (~CA$311) for the Inzone H7. This headset is lighter, weighing only 260 grams versus 325 grams for the Inzone H7. That reduced weight should make it more comfortable for long gaming sessions.

It has the same AI noise reduction feature as the Inzone Buds, which uses a deep neural network algorithm to filter out background noise and enhance your voice clarity. And it comes with a 3.5mm jack, which allows you to connect it to any device with a standard audio port.

The Inzone H5 does have some drawbacks, however. Unlike the Inzone H7, it does not have Bluetooth connectivity, so you need to use a USB adapter to connect it wirelessly to your PC or console. It also has a shorter battery life, lasting only 28 hours on a full charge compared to 40 hours for the Inzone H7. However, it does support fast charging, giving you up to three hours of use with just 10 minutes of charging.

The Inzone H5 is compatible with the PS5 and supports the same on-screen status information as the Inzone Buds, such as battery level and sound mode.
