Nanoleaf launches plug-and-play PC backlighting kit

Nanoleaf launched its PC Screen Mirror Lightstrip, offering a streamlined way to enhance PC gaming and entertainment with immersive backlighting. This new lightstrip, designed for monitors up to 32 inches, features 75 colour-changing LEDs that synchronize with on-screen content and music.

Unlike traditional bias lighting setups, the PC Screen Mirror Lightstrip connects directly to a PC's USB port, eliminating the need for a separate control box or camera. Its flexible, adhesive zigzag design simplifies installation, and excess length can be trimmed for smaller monitors.

Users can customize the lighting experience through Nanoleaf's desktop app, choosing from 16 million colours and creating custom animations. The lightstrip can also mirror on-screen colours during gameplay, extending the visual experience beyond the monitor. Additionally, it functions as an audio visualizer, reacting to music playback.

Nanoleaf Premium subscribers can access the advanced Orchestrator mode, which analyzes music to generate dynamic colour palettes and animations.

The PC Screen Mirror Lightstrip is available for preorder now on Nanoleaf's online store for $59.99 in Canada.
