Apple Watch Series 10 launches with brighter wide-angle OLED screen

Apple Watch Series 10 goes bigger, brighter, and thinner. This 10th-generation smartwatch comes with a 40 percent brighter wide-angle OLED screen. It's the largest display on an Apple Watch yet, beating out even the Apple Watch Ultra. This makes it easier to read what's on the screen.

Despite that, it's also just 9.7mm thick, making it 10 percent thinner and lighter than the Apple Watch Series 9. It also features two slightly larger size options: 42mm and 46mm. The good news is you can still use the straps designed for Series 9 or older. The new straps for the Apple Watch Series 10 are also backward-compatible.

What's new with the Apple iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max

The Apple iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro Max get a bunch of new features as well. They get bigger displays with thinner bezels, upgraded camera features, and the new Camera Control button, to name a few.

One of the most notable additions is the new Camera Control feature. This physical button depresses slightly into the case while offering additional haptic feedback. It doesn't just work as a shutter button. It also has a capacitive touch surface you can swipe on to navigate through different camera settings. Later this year, Apple will roll out a software update that will give this button a two-stage shutter option for locking focus and exposure.

What to expect from the Apple iPhone 16 and 16 Plus

Apple adds some new buttons to the Apple iPhone 16 and 16 Plus. As rumoured, the two inherit the iPhone 15 Pro's Action Buttons alongside a new "Camera Control" button. This new physical button is a dedicated shutter and another way to change settings in the Camera app. The rear cameras on the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus are now stacked vertically. It is better suited to capture spatial video this way, which you can use with the Vision Pro.

The camera upgrades to the new iPhone 16 and 16 Plus include its lenses. It gets an equivalent of four lenses all in all despite only having two sensors. The 48-megapixel Fusion camera comes with a 2x telephoto option, while the new 12-megapixel ultra-wide can also be used for macro photography.
