iPad Mania Begins early

Apple's "magical" and "revolutionary" device is undoubtedly the gadget release of 2010. The iPad arrives in the US this Saturday and already expectations have been whipped into a frenzy. Steve Jobs is covered by Stephen Fry in Time, Gizmodo has profiled and collected early reviews and everyone seems to have an opinion on this product that really, very few people have seen.  For Canada, the iPad is rumoured to hit stores on April 24.

Safe Text: Virgin Mobile lobbying for sidewalk Safe Zones across Canada

Virgin Mobile Canada is taking to the sidewalks to make them a bit safer with a new campaign to encourage government agencies to install Safe Text Zones across Canada.

Studies show that the number of sidewalk accidents has increased drastically in the last several years, largely due to the high number of pedestrians who text while they walk. In Canada alone, more than 20,000 pedestrian accidents have occurred while texting since 2009.
