The latest update for Google TV (as part of the Android 14 beta release) introduces a convenient “find my remote” feature, which is designed to alleviate the common frustration of misplaced remotes. It was highlighted during the recent Google I/O conference and confirmed by Android Authority.
Here’s how it works: Your Google TV includes a dedicated button that, when pressed, triggers your remote to emit a sound for 30 seconds. This function is compatible only with certain Google TV remote models. To deactivate the sound before the 30 seconds elapse, simply press any button on the remote.
