ASUS ROG Phone 3 to launch on July 22
ASUS ROG will introduce the third iteration of its gaming phone on July 22, which will stream online at 11 am (GMT-4.) or 11 pm Taipei time (GMT+8). The Taiwanese company launched its official site with a countdown timer for the event. ASUS ROG has been keeping the ROG Phone 3 under wraps, but a leaked hands-on video above shows you what to expect in terms of hardware.
According to TENAA listing, the ROG Phone 3 will reportedly have a 6.59-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen, in-display fingerprint scanner, up to 12GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, Android 10, and a 5,800mAh battery. It'll supposedly support dual-mode 5G (SA/NSA) and come with an octa-core processor clocked at 3.09GHz, which people believe is the yet-to-be-announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ chipset. It'll have a triple-camera setup at the back, but we only know that it'll have a 64-megapixel primary and 13-megapixel secondary shooters. The listing also indicated it'd have an 8x optical zoom, suggesting one of the lenses is a telephoto lens. It'll just have one selfie camera.
