SlideShow: Photos taken with the Apple iPhone 4S Camera

We've had about 24 hours with the iPhone 4S and while our initial interactions with Siri were gratifiying and the faster speed and features of iOS5 and iCloud have changed the way we user our iPhone, it is the camera that's really impressed us. Here are some unedited photos we have taken with the iPhone 4S. That 8MP camera is just superb, arguably the best on any mobile device we've tested. We will pit it against some point-and-shoot cameras  soon to see how it fares against dedicated cameras.

Panasonic releases Lumix G3 Micro Four Thirds camera

With a new sensor, faster performance and  better noise reduction plus more touch-sensitive control, the Panasonic Lumix G3 jumps right into the high end of the Micro Four Thirds interchangeable lens camera market. ILC (Interchangeable Lens Cameras) are peaking in popularity right now as smaller alternatives to DSLR's.

Review: Samsung SH100 WIFI enabled 14 Megapixel camera

After spending time with Samsung's SH100 WiFi-enabled 14 megapixel touchscreen based camera it has become apparent that this is where all consumer digital cameras are headed. WiFi connectivity and the ability to backup photos, send e-mail from directly from the camera as well as upload to online services like Picasa, YouTube and Facebook is a defining feature but the touch-screen based control interface is a mixed bag.
