ZTE brings Grand X View 4 to Freedom Mobile

ZTE's new tablet, the Grand X View 4, is now available through Freedom Mobile for $192 outright or through a monthly plan that costs $15 per month. The plan comes with 4GB worth of data.

What does the tablet offer? It runs on Qualcomm's QM215 quad-core chipset, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of expandable storage (up to 2TB). The Grand X View 4 has an 8-inch HD+ 1,200 x 800 resolution screen surrounded by thick bezels. Its looks remind us a bit of the old Nexus tablets. It has front-facing speakers and 5-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front camera combo. ZTE promises up to nine hours of video playback with its 4,630mAh battery. Connectivity support includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, LTE, and Bluetooth 4.2.

The tablet will also be coming to other carriers in the coming months.

Freedom Mobile reportedly offers COVID-19 relieft discounts for customers who reach out

Freedom Mobile is reportedly helping out some of its customers through COVID-19 relief discounts. MobileSyrup discovered posts on RedFlagDeals talking about the discounts some of the received. And all you need to do is reach out to the telecom either through live chat or via a phone call asking about the offer. The discounts seem to vary, though. A user received $20 off three of their lines for six months, another received $5 off for the next several months, and others got either three- or six-month discounted periods. If you need help, it's definitely worth asking, though.
