Retro-looking Fujifilm Instax Mini 40 comes with a selfie mode

Fujifilm's newest Instax camera might look retro, but it packs in many new features, including a Selfie Mode. All you need to do to enable this mode on the Instax Mini 40 is to pull out the lens's front edge after you power it on. This move will trigger Selfie Mode with a Selfie On indicator, letting you know the camera is ready to take your solo or group shots. There's a small mirror that can help you check your framing.

The Instax Mini 40 comes with an automatic exposure function, so it instantly adjusts shutter speed and the flash to adjust to your surrounding brightness. It's housed in a slim black body with silver accents and slightly larger than a smartphone.

Fujifilm Instax 11 is a smarter instant camera with a selfie mode

The new Fujifilm Instax 11 will do all the work for you. This instant analog camera can automatically adjust shutter speed and flash output based on the ambient lighting conditions. Past Instax models needed you to change the exposure dial manually, but now the Instax 11 will figure it out for you. This feature means there might be fewer wasted shots, which could mean better photos while also saving you some money on the film.

The Fujifilm Instax 11 also has a new selfie mode built-in. You just need to pull the translucent ring in front of the lens so you can extend it for selfies. A small mirror is located right next to the lens, so you can be sure you're framing your shot right. You can even use the selfie mode to take close up shots of other subjects.

Fujifilm X-T4 comes with in-body image stablization

Fujifilm just introduced its newest mirrorless flagship camera, the X-T4. One of its most significant features is the new in-body image stabilization (IBIS). It comes with five-axis IBIS, which is combined with a four-axis digital image stabilizer. So, with select Fujifilm XF lenses, you can achieve up to 6.5 stops of image stabilization.

The X-T4 comes with a new X-Trams 26.1-megapixel CMOS 4 sensor and quad-core X-Processor 4, which promises a wide dynamic range and fast autofocus. The camera is capable of taking 26.1-megapixel photos at 15 frames per second, thanks to its mechanical shutter.

Fujifilm update brings advanced gimbal controls to the X-T3 camera

Fujifilm is working with gimbal makers like DJI, Shenzhen Gudsen, and Zhiyung to bring granular control to the X-T3. An upcoming firmware update will allow you to start and stop video recording and control settings like aperture, exposure compensation, ISO, and shutter speed. With products like the Crane 2 and Ronin S/SC, you can use the focus control knob to control focus on the electronic lenses manually. While the update is mostly for gimbals, it can be used for certain DJI drones, too.

The update will also improve Fujifilm's eye AF tracking, auto-focus, and face-detection performance. The company said the update should arrive around mid-December.
