Google Maps makes its triumphant return to iOS

iPhone and iPad users can now exhale a collective breath of relief as the much awaited Google Maps app is now available for iOS and it features turn-by-turn directions for free. And yes, Street View is back! Apple was criticised for discontinuing the earlier version of Google Maps (made by Apple) in iOS 6 while it pushed its own Maps application. Apple begins shipping new iPod Touch and iPod nano models

Apple has started shipping the new iPod Touch as well as the iPod nano models revealed last month during the iPhone 5 launch event. All indications point to both these models being in stock in most Apple Stores with supplies increasing into the weekend. The new iPod Touch brings the larger 4-inch Retina Display of the iPhone 5, an improved 5 megapixel iSight camera and a powerful dual-core A5 chip. The new nano resembles a tiny iPod Touch with a 2.5 inch display, the ability to play back video as well as built-in Bluetooth.
