iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus updated with user-requested features

San Francisco - Apple addressed many of the perceived deficiencies of the iPhone 6 line with their updated iPhone 6s models revealed today.

They've made the thin and light iPhone stronger, with a 7000 series Alumium as well as reinforced glass. The camera has been bumped up to 12-megapixels (from the long-standing 8 megapixel sensor). iPhone 6s can shoot 4K video, a feature that other smartphones have had for years but which Apple took its time to develop properly. It can shoot highly-detailed and color-accurate photographs.

The Apple Beat: Is Apple TV ready for primetime?

A new voice-control interface powered by Siri would be a killer feature, specially for an Apple TV priced in the US $149 range. But Apple will need to step up its game to make the device a true platform. So, aside from iTunes movies and TV shows on demand, we can expect the advent of iOS apps and games to come to Apple TV.

In a few days, we will know what Apple plans on revealing as it takes over the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco. The September 9 event is guaranteed to involve the next generation iPhone as well as iOS 9 and possibly some considerable Apple Watch and watchOS 2.0 news, since it has been a year since we first saw Apple’s wearable.

Rumors are getting frenzied right now, as they always do before a huge Apple Event. Since, there haven’t been any significant leaks or spoilers as to what we will see (smartphone case prototypes don’t count), blogs and even established news agencies are scrambling by playing guessing games and giving time to any rumour that seems to make sense (like new colours for Apple Watch Sport straps... ).

Motorola unveils three new Moto 360 smartwatch lines coming to Canada this fall

New York – Motorola has unveiled three new lines for Moto 360 smartwatch. Moto 360 now comes in two sizes at 42mm and 46mm, with specific models for men and women as well as an upcoming Moto 360 Sport edition, which features a standalone GPS. Bundling in the best of Android Wear, Motorola's own intuitive software as well as health-tracking features, Moto 360 aims to cater to all users and lifestyles.

“With the second generation, we’ve refined the classic and timeless design and created a watch collection specifically designed for men, women and fitness enthusiasts,” Motorola said in aan accompanying press release.
