Pre ordered Pebble Time smartwatches begin arriving

People who pre-ordered the new Pebble Time smartwatch on KickStarter are starting to receive their kickstarter edition watches in the mail, sometimes even before receiving a notification email and tracking number. The Pebble Time began shipping out the last week of May and once most KickStarter orders are fulfilled, the company will begin selling non KickStarter editions. The Pebble Time Steel is coming to market next month. Users on Android will be able to install and explore the device right away by downloading the new Pebble Time app. iOS users will have to wait for the app to be cleared at the iOS App Store. Stay tuned for a full review of the new Pebble Time and its corresponding OS once we get our KickStarter edition.

The Pebble Time app on iOS has been approved and should be appearing in the App Store anytime now.

Maarten Heilbron was on hand in New York for Asus's big North American launch event for the Zenfone 2 which is now available in North America including Canada. The video focuses on the finer points of the launch as well as some hands-on time with the Zenfone 2 and many of its features including its camera and ZenMotion gesture control on screen. Maarten also covers some of the intriguing accessories that round out Asus' impressive contract-free flagship offering.

LG G4 to ship in key global markets

LG has announced that its LG G4 flagship will begin rolling out this week to consumers in key markets around the world, continuing throughout the month into June and beyond as more retailers and operators see what LG G4 has to offer their customers. The LG G4 comes to Canada in June.

Starting in Hong Kong, the G4 will follow with rollouts in Turkey, Russia and Singapore, eventually including most of Europe, North America, CIS, Southeast Asia, Middle East/Africa and South/Central America. Approximately 180 carriers and retails are already on board as G4 partners.

Apple Watch online orders to be available for in store pickup

Apple has updated its US Apple Watch product page which now indicates that online pre-orders can either be shipped to your address or picked up in store on launch day. After the April 10 pre-order date, some Apple Stores will feature try-on sections where customers can check out Watch and see which collections and band suits them best as well as ascertain which of the Watch's two sizes fit them better. Customers have a limited time to try on the product and can then place an order right at the store.
