Checking out the latest Fitbits: Charge 2 and Flex 2

Fitbit started just over 9 years ago and their mission has always been to help people live healthier and more active lives by offering guidance and inspiration to reach personal goals. The fitness trackers have been popular for marathon runners and other athletes with training goals in mind as well as people like me who just want to add more to my everyday activities. 

In combination with the Fitbit App, people can manage not only personal goals of their chosen activities but also eat smarter, sleep better, and pay attention to weight goals. Fitbit has become the number one fitness tracker globally out of all the wearables on the market now. There are several Fitbit styles available depending on your needs and this fall we've been introduced to new models: Fitbit Charge 2 and the Fitbit Flex 2.

Best Buy highlights consumer life & wearable tech in Toronto

The exciting world of lifestyle related and wearable tech products is growing quickly and judging by the thousands who visited Best Buy's Life & Wearable Tech Expo last week in Toronto, consumers are definitely intrigued and ready to embrace it all. Yonge & Dundas Square was the location of the second annual showcase that offered the public an up close and interactive look at the latest lifestyle technology.

Ford takes mindfulness behind the wheel

It seems that everyone is jumping on the mindfulness bandwagon these days. It may be a strategy to grab the attention of millenials but I'm keen on taking these ideas to test. Recently, I had an interesting idea coming from Ford Canada. Having spend several years tracking the company's initiatives and research on a lifestyle perspective (because you can get all the specs and driving views you want from everyone else) this was definitely of interest. New website sends smelly friends clear messages 

Well, if you can send flowers, chocolates and books to your friends why not send them this? I've just discovered the site myfriendsmells.com that send a clear message to those who need to up their hygiene game...or at least mask it. 

Just launched today, this site allows customers to anonymously send cologne wipes to friends with an attached note informing them that they smell. It's a non-confrontational way to send a message in hopes of dealing with bad body odor.
