We see the Red Room in the final trailer of 'Black Widow'

 

Natasha Romanoff, the eponymous character of the latest Marvel film, Black Widow, finds herself back in the notorious Red Room in the final trailer of the movie. This new Marvel Cinematic Universe movie takes us back into Natasha's life before she became an Avenger. It is a visit into what can be called the darker parts of her ledger, especially with the visit to the Red Room. It's a training program that turned her into the superspy.

Scarlett Johansson reprises her role as Natasha/Black Widow, and this time she is joined by Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, David Harbour as Alexei/The Red Guardian, and Rachel Weisz as Melina.

Christian Bale will play a villain in 'Thor: Love and Thunder'

The Dark Knight will soon find himself playing a villain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Christian Bale has been confirmed to play the antagonist in Thor: Love and Thunder film. Tessa Thompson, who plays Valkyrie in the Thor series, shared the news with ET, saying she's read the script from the upcoming installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and discovered that her character and Chris Hemsworth's Thor would be going up against Bale's still-unknown character. Comingsoon.net speculates that he could play Balder the Brave.

Thor: Love and Thunder will be directed by Taika Waititi, who also directed the successful Thor: Ragnarok. Natalie Portman will be reprising her role as Jane Foster, but this time she'll be taking on the part as female Thor, too. This storyline is based on Jason Aaron's run on "The Mighty Thor," where a cancer-stricken Jane takes up Thor's mantle and gains his powers, too.

'Falcon and the Winter Soldier' gets a new premiere date on Disney+

Here's some excellent news for you, Marvel Cinematic Universe fans. Falcon and the Winter Soldier will be hitting the Disney+ streaming service earlier than anticipated. Instead of coming out in the fall of this year, the show will premiere in August 2020 instead. 

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier picks up after the events of Avengers: Endgame. MCU stars Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan as the titular characters Sam Wilson or Falcon and Bucky Barnes or the Winter Soldier, respectively. Emily VanCamp will be reprising her role as Agent 13. She made a brief appearance during Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War. Daniel Brühl will also be reprising his role as the villain Zemo.

Robert Downey Jr. on his future as Iron Man: 'The war for me is over'

If you were holding out hope for Robert Downey Jr. to take on his now-iconic role as Iron Man, we're sorry to say, but he doesn't seem to be up for that anymore. In an interview with Paradethe actor said, "The war for me is over." Downey is focusing on the release of his new film Dolittle and looking for new roles. He added, "I personally have alighted to greener pastures." One of his latest projects is hosting a YouTube Originals learning series called The Age of A.I. 

And while the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has introduced the idea of time travel and the multiverse, Downey told Extra in a separate interview that you never know what's going to happen, but he's done. "I hung up my guns and I'm good to let it go. I also think Marvel is on this journey now and they're trying a bunch of other stuff, and I'm excited for them to see how all that goes. It's hard to project." Some of the upcoming MCU titles include Black Widow, The Eternals, and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. There are also the TV shows coming to Disney+ like The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and WandaVision.
