Xbox-to-Windows game streaming is now available

Microsoft has lifted their resctrictions for Xbox-to-PC-game streaming in time for the upcoming release of Windows 10. Aside from that, the Windows 10 Xbox app is getting a whole bunch of new features. There’s now party chat, updated My Games functionality, and tweaks on how screenshots and video clips are shared through the Game DVR.

When you use My Games now, you won’t just see the games you’ve purchased from the Windows Store, you’ll also get to see the games you’ve purchased from other sources as well. You have the option to manually add titles if they don’t show up, too.

RPG ‘Divinity: Original Sin’ makes its way to consoles

A new decidedly old-school role-playing game is making its way to the Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One. Divinity: Original Sin will be coming to these two consoles in the form of an Enhanced Edition. It’ll feature a new interface, split-screen couch co-op, and full-on voice work. Of course, there will be new questions, stories, and tweaks to the combat system.

PC users aren’t being ignored though. The Enhanced Edition will be a free update for Windows, Mac, Linux, and SteamOS. There isn’t any word when this’ll come out but Larian Studios plans to give up more info at the Electronics Entertainment Expo next month.

Microsoft to let you use the Xbox One controllers with Windows

You just have to wait a bit but Microsoft plans to have wireless adapter for Xbox One controllers for the PC later this year. This means you can use the controller without needing a USB cable. The Xbox 360 had a similar adapter before. It seems this’ll arrive right on time for the Windows 10 launch, especially since the Xbox app will let you stream Xbox games to the PC. If you hate cables, this should be great news for you.
