Momentum building for next gen ARM processors with 64-bit capability

ARM, which makes a variety of mobile processors used in smartphones, tablets and low-voltage PCs, is readying for its next generation chips. The company is celebrating the signing of the 50th licensing agreement for its ARMv8-A technology, which includes support for 64-bit computing. A total of 27 companies have signed agreements for the company’s ARMv8-A technology as industry momentum builds for greater compute capability across a wide range of applications. BlackBerry launches BBM protected for secure enterprise messaging

Apple launches iOS 8 at WWDC

San Francisco, CA: Apple pulled the covers off the latest version of their mobile operating system that powers iPhones, iPads and iPod Touch devices. iOS 8 continues the new look and feel that was introduced with last year's iOS 7. This year the focus seems to be on refinements such as the ability to quickly respond to emails, alerts and notifcations with a simple swipe. Conveniences seem to be built into the Mail programs on iOS Devices, there are refinements to the search function called spotlight.
