Sony will bring 'Uncharted 4' to the PC

Sony

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End will no longer be a Sony PlayStation-exclusive game. In a report presented to its investors, Sony has shared that the title will be heading to the PC. It's part of a strategy to find new fans for the IP and reach new geographies. Days Gone arrived on Steam on May 19, so Uncharted might follow suit. Aside from using these two titles as new growth vectors, Sony believes its mobile efforts will also bring new audiences. The company plans to bring its "most popular franchises" to mobile, as seen through a job ad posted earlier this year.

In the same report, Sony told investors it is expecting to break even on the standard edition of the PS5 this June and become profitable in the months after that.

'Tell Me Why' is coming out on August 27

The developers behind Life is Strange is set to launch its newest title next month. Dontnod's new game Tell Me Why will officially come out on August 27. Microsoft announced the release date during its July showcase, where it shared game premieres and updates. The developer revealed this narrative-driven title back in November, saying it's for the Xbox One and PC. Like Life is Strange, your choices in the game affect the outcome of the story

Tell Me Why follows a set of twins working through their childhood memories as a shared "supernatural bond" allows them to interact with these memories. The developer plans to release all three episodes simultaneously, unlike what it did with Life is Strange, where the company spaced out releases. You can check out the new trailer of the game above.

‘Dark Pictures: Man of Medan’ to launch this August 30th

If you’re familiar with Supermassive’s Until Dawn, then you won’t have trouble understanding what to do with the developer’s new Dark Pictures Anthology. This interactive horror series is launching with Man of Medan this August 30th. It’ll be coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The story revolves around a group on a diving vacation gone wrong. They end up kidnapped and trapped in a ghost ship. The choices you make in the game will determine whether these characters live or die. This anthology takes place in a shared universe and Supermassive plans to release a Dark Pictures game every six months.

The game will have a “Curator’s Cut” mode, which will come to all players for free eventually, but those who pre-order gain access to this mode from day one. In this mode, you’ll be able to replay scenes from the perspectives of the other characters when you finish the game. You also get more choices that affect the story in new ways. This mode also offers scenes and secrets not available in the main game.
