Leak shows round widgets for LG G3 lockscreen

Leaks have surfaced that the LG G3 will have a cover with a circular gap instead of the usual rectangular gap we’ve seen on other devices. But what would the widgets look like from this perspective? @Evleaks shows circular app widgets for the upcoming LG flagship, including pedometer information, clocks, and incoming text messages and calls. It would seem the look is inspired by Android Wear interface. What do you guys think of this new look?

Microsoft tipped to release re-mastered suite of ‘Halo’ games for Xbox One

Microsoft wants to give new Halo 5 gamers a chance to catch up with the franchise with an upcoming release. The Verge reports that Microsoft will release past Halo games, including Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo 4, sometime this year. These titles is said to be released under the Halo: The Master Chief Collection. If these rumours are to be believed, this is good news for those who haven’t been able to catch up with the franchise yet.

Google to reportedly release Android 4.4.3 to Nexus devices on May 23

While the rumour mill is abuzz with news that the Nexus line is on its way out, the current line of Nexus devices are tipped to be getting the new Android 4.4.3 update next week. Cult of Android reports the Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7, and Nexus 10 will be getting the update on May 23, Friday. It will include a number of bug fixes and help refine the platform further. It isn’t confirmed if all four Nexus devices will be getting the software update on the same day or when the Google Play Edition devices will be getting the update. It is still a rumour at the moment. We will most likely here more about the update and other Android news at the upcoming Google I/O conference.

Vertu tipped to release a high-end smartphone that matches internals with steep price

Vertu has long brought ridiculously expensive smartphones to the market. But these devices don’t usually carry hardware specifications to match its price. That might change soon though if the report from Ubergizmo will be believed. An AnTuTu entry of a supposedly upcoming Vertu phone called ‘Signature Touch’ (RM-960V) has showed up. It will reportedly have a 1080x1920 pixel display (no screen size yet, run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 2.3GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, Android 4.4.2 KitKat, and a 13-megapixel rear camera. Until we find out more about this device though, you will have to take this rumour with a grain of salt.
