We've all been there. Running out of time and hankering for a good meal in between meetings or something a bit more special to put on the dinner table when no one has time to cook or prepare a proper meal. Fast-food and deliery services are alright for certain conditions but sometimes you just want to have the food from your favourite restaurant without having to make reservations, dress up and wait to be served.

Amazon releases new features for Kindle E-Readers now available

Amazon announced a software update for Kindle e-readers that includes exclusive features such as Word Wise and Family Library. Amazon Prime now available in Canada but only offers two-day shipping for $79.99 a year

Amazon Prime is now available to Canadians but the only includes the free two-day shipping option and has no tie ins to the Instant Streaming of Movies and TV Shows or the Instant Access to Kindle Books that users in the US enjoy. 

The service costs $79, this gives Canadians free two-day shipping to "most cities" in Canada. In rural areas, specifically North or the Maritimes, users get unlimited shipping but without the two-day guarantee. Hit jump to read more about the truncated Amazon Prime service in Canada.

Breaking: Massive and prolonged Internet outage affects Rogers customers

 

A widespread Rogers Internet and mobile service outage started  late Saturday afternoon as Twitter was flooded with reports from various cities in Southern Ontario, including Toronto, Waterloo and London. A Techcrunch report suggested that the outage may spread across the entire country. Rogers responded via its Twitter @RogersHelps account that the service failure was due to "wireline interruptions" and that updates are forthcoming.
