Here are the first pictures of Michael Fassbender as Steve Jobs

The Aaron Sorkin scripted Steve Jobs biopic based on Walter Isaacson's authorized Jobs biography has had a lot of ups and downs and seemed to be held in a Hollywood holding pattern as various high profile actors (like Christian Bale and Leonardo DiCaprio) were in talks to play the iconic part. It seems Sony Studios has found their Steve Jobs in Michael Fassbender (who recently played young Magneto in the X-Men prequels as well as the Android David in Prometheus).

US Postage Stamp featuring Steve Jobs considered for 2015

Stamp mock-up by Gadjo C. Sevilla

The Washington Post has uncovered a list of possible subjects for upcoming US Postage Stamps and among them is Apple founder Steve Jobs. Slated for production in 2015, the stamps will be a limited release. Other celebrities getting stamped include Science Fiction Writers, Peanuts, Johnny Carson, James Brown and Elvis. The actual stamp is still being designed so there's no inkling on which iconic Jobs image will be used. Perhaps they should release a series of stamps, one for each revolutionary product category Jobs ushered in.

Remembering Steve Jobs on the second anniversary of his death

By Corey Herscu

Today marks the second anniversary of the death of the late great visionary (and Apple co-founder) Steve Jobs.

Rather than going on (and on) trying to explain the impact he had on me and my career, which I am sure many of you can relate to, I'd rather give a moment to reflect and call all our readers to leave a comment briefly stating how he influenced/impacted your life.

Let's pour one out for the big guy, the one who always made sure us 'rebels' felt important and justified.

RIP Steve Jobs (2/24/55- 10/5/2011)

"Here's to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes... the ones who see things differently -- they're not fond of rules... You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can't do is ignore them because they change things... they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do."

‘Jobs’ movie trailer hits Instagram

If you thought 60 seconds is too long to watch a movie trailer, the creators behind Steve Jobs’ biopic Jobs are tapping into your short attention span by releasing a 15-second trailer on Instagram, a first on the photo- and video-sharing service.

This comes hot off the heels of Instagram allowing photo and video embedding for their Web version. What do you think of this new marketing ploy?
