Here’s a look at the full world map of ‘Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’

There’s a whole lot of exploring you can do in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, if the world map is any indication. According to Powerpyx, the full world map of the upcoming Ubisoft game is said to cover 130km2, which is 62 percent bigger than Assassin’s Creed Origins map was. The latter has bigger land mass but this new game makes up for that with all the water between the many islands you can explore. If seafaring isn’t your thing, there’s still mainland Greece and Macedonia to explore. The game is being developed for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It’s set to come out on October 5.

“I think we will see another generation, but there is a good chance that step-by-step we will see less and less hardware,” Guillemot told Variety. “With time, I think streaming will become more accessible to many players and make it not necessary to have big hardware at home.”

Ubisoft confirms new ‘Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’ game

A leak might have forced Ubisoft to unveil the latest game in the Assassin’s Creed franchise. We aren’t sure. What we do know is that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is coming and it’s going to make its appearance at E3 2018. The leak happened a few hours before the official Assassin’s Creed Twitter confirmed the game’s existence. French video game site JeuxVideo-Live posted a photo of a novelty keychain promoting the unannounced (at that time) title. The keychain showed a helmet that resembled that of King Leonidas I. The site claimed the game will be set in ancient Greece.
