Get push notifications on Vine for your favorite users

Are you constantly checking your favorite Vine users to see what they uploaded lately? To make it easier for you, Vine now lets you receive push notifications from your favorite users. Similar to what Twitter does with its mobile app, you can tap on the star button at the upper right corner of the user’s profile to receive notifications from them. It works on Android, iOS, and Windows Phone apps.

Vine for Android gets video import feature in latest update

The new Vine Camera from Vine on Vimeo

After making its debut on iOS last month, Vine is adding some new, game-changing features for Vine users. The app used to only let you record clips in the moment but now you can import videos in your camera roll and edit them down to the six-second video of your liking. They have also added an undo button to let you correct mistakes you’ve made. There are a lot of creative Vine users so we’re pretty sure this’ll show off some pretty interesting work.

Vine for iOS update adds more notification control and other new features

Twitter recently released an update for its Vine app on iOS to add new features as well as more language support. Vine users get more control over their notifications now. You can customize how you receive notifications via push notifications and in the Activity tab right from the Notifications menu in Settings. You’ll also know how many unread VMs and activity items you have with the new badge. You can now also create Vines without having to decide yet if you will share it publicly or just send it to someone.

The navigation bar has also been improved to let you switch between tabs with one tap instead of two and the top bar fades when you view Vines from another user’s profile or from your home feed. Vine now also supports Arabic, English (UK), and Hebrew.
