London - Motorola's most popular and disruptive handset just got a major of an update today. The Moto G stormed into the market two years ago as an affordable smartphone designed to move millions of users from archaic feature phones into the smartphone age. Priced affordably yet featuring performance and features that could compete with the flagships of the time, the Moto G was very well received and has since become Motorola's best selling model.
Unveiled today, Moto G Gen 3 bumps up the specs with a 1.4 GHz quad-core CPU, 1GB of RAM, 8 or 16GB of storage as well as improved build and IPX7 water resistance. The camera of the Moto G is now 13 megapixels and IPx7 certification, good for submersion in up to three feet of water for 30 minutes.
