Aside from its rumoured mixed reality headset, Apple is reportedly introducing new MacBook models during its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) this year. While WWDC is typically a software- and developer-centric event, hardware has also appeared frequently. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman claims new MacBook laptops are coming to the conference.

Apple FaceTime improvements focus on looks, audio, and group calls

Apple's newest improvements to its FaceTime app will have it working more like Zoom and Microsoft Teams. The company is bringing scheduled calls that can even be accessed by Android and Windows PCs via the browser. It gets a grid view if you want to see most or all of the people in the call.

Apple tvOS adds picture-in-picture mode, multi-user support for Apple Arcade 

Aside from adding support to HomeKit, Apple's tvOS platform adds a few small but useful features. Like iOS 14, it's getting picture-in-picture mode across the entire Apple TV experience, with AirPlay videos able to show up in picture-in-picture mode. Multiuser support is coming to the platform, but it seems only to be available for continuing gameplay on Apple Arcade games at the moment.

tvOS is also getting support for Microsoft's Elite 2 and Adaptive Xbox One controller, better audio sharing with AirPod earbuds, as well as up to 4K video streaming from your iOS devices' Photos app.
