Fast and Furious DLC coming to Forza Horizon 2

The Fast and the Furious movie franchise is a billion dollar cultural phenomenon and has inspired a generation of car lovers and enthusiasts with insane vehicles in impossible stunt scenarios. The popular Forza Horizon racing simulator is getting a standalone Fast and Furious downloadable content on March 27. Furious 7, the latest installment of the franchise comes to theatres on April 3rd.
To play Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious, you do not need a copy of Forza Horizon 2. Microsoft releases the game on March 27th for Xbox One and Xbox 360 for free until April 10th after which it will cost $10 to download.

Xbox One and Windows 10 integration extends functionality of consoles to PCs

One of the cooler announcements in today's Windows 10 launch event was the news that Windows 10 will have an Xbox App available on Windows 10 devices. What this enables is streaming Xbox One games to WIndows 10 PCs and tablets. They demoed this on stage with Forza Horizon running on an Xbox One but streaming without any latency to a Surface Pro 3 tablet. Using an XBox controller, you can play your game using a PC with no latency and with remote access to all your Xbox controls. This is made possible by DirectX 12 enhancing graphics performance on existing hardware devices.

Microsoft introduces new Xbox controller for Windows

Microsoft has introduced an Xbox controller that will work with your Windows machine. The Xbox controller comes with a long detachable USB cable you can use to connect to your PC or tablet. Of course, it also still works with your Xbox console. It comes with infrared LEDs to connect with your Kinect. And it will work with other Xbox accessories, such as the Charge Kit or Chat Headset.

The Xbox controller is compatible with Windows 8.1 and Windows 7. It retails for US$59.95 and will be available in November.

Microsoft exec says PC to soon get Xbox One controller support

If you’ve always wanted to use your Xbox One controller with your PC, then you might be getting that option soon. Microsoft’s Larry Hyrb responded to a gamer who was complaining about the lack of Xbox One controller support for the PC. Hyrb said it would be coming real soon. He did not elaborate when soon would be or any other details about this feature but we’d keep our eyes and ears peeled for any official news.
