September 27 is the day for LG G2 to launch in Canada

LG has let us know that starting September 27, Canadians can get their hands on the much anticipated LG G2, the first smartphone introduced under the new LG series “G” slated for premium devices and the successor to the Optimus G.

LG's G2 photos and video leaked before launch

LG's big smartphone release of 2013 is the G2 which is the successor to last year's accomplished but tepid LG Optimus G. LG premium phones get “G” branding

We may or may not find out what “G” stands for but LG Electronics intends to use that letter for their premium smartphones. The Korean brand’s next flagship device is going to be known as the G2 and will be the first phone to represent the brand. Another brand change is the renaming of their 4:3 display devices to just “Vu.”
