About time: Announced late 2009, the Motorola Milestone is finally available from Telus for $199 on a 3-year contract.Telus and Motorola today announced the availability of the much-anticipated Motorola Milestone in Canada. Best Buy Canada leaks Motorola Milestone launch date - Coming Feb 18 from Telus

Best Buy Canada has let the cat out of the bag.

On the animated banner on their Best Buy Mobile Page up this afternoon is an image of a giant Motorola Milestone announcing that we can pre-order the Android smartphone in-store starting February 5. Best Buy's ad also reveals a February 18 launch date.

No information on pricing yet but news on the wire is $199 with a three-year contract or $550 outright. We reported earlier this week that Expansys.ca was selling unlocked Motorola Milestones for $654.99.

Telus Mobility's website now has a "notify me at launch" sign-up sheet. The Motorola Milestone is featured prominently on their website but still no price information.

Those who have been waiting for Motorola's Milestone to make an appearance in Canada now have the option of buying one unlocked from online technology e-tailer Expansys.ca.

Selling on their website for $654.99, the Motorola Milestone, is the 3G GSM version of Motorola's popular Android phone sporting the latest Android 2.0 OS.
