Google Play store celebrates 25 billion downloads, 675,000 apps

Google's Play Store is their storefront for apps, books and videos and has just celebrated 25 billion downloads as well as the availability of 675,000 apps across myriad versions of Android OS on smartphones, tablets and Google TVs. To celebrate the milestones, Google is giving users a chance to download content forjust 25 cents. There will special collections like 25 movies you must own, 25 banned books, 25 albums that changed the world and 25 top selling magazines, all at special prices. Google Play can be accessed through Android devices.

Google Play Gift Cards in $10 and $25 appear, signify evolution of an ecosystem

Google's Play Store is the hub to buy apps, music, movies, books and even smartphones and tablets. The evolution of the virtual store sees the next level of its evolution by now offering gift cards.

These cards will likely be sold in popular retailers alongside similar gift cards from iTunes, Facebook, Zynga, Sony and others. Androidcentral.com was able to nab some legit looking photos of the $10 and $25 cards with the Google Play log and branding.

Porsche Design Store opens in Toronto

The Porsche Design store at 77 Bloor Street West, opened its doors earlier today to showcase a variety of  items including clothing, luggage, shoes and various accessories such as timepieces and even the super-exclusive BlackBerry P'9981 smartphone.
