CinemaNow launches Disc to Digital Service in Canada with Best Buy and Future Shop

CinemaNow launched its Disc to Digital Service in downtown Toronto earlier today. The event, sponsored by Best Buy and Future Shop, feature a panel that included Loveena Chera, Director of CinemaNow Canada, Brian Humes, Executive Vice President - Canada & United Kingdom 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, Edward Han, Vice President, Digital Account Management, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, John Melluso, Vice President, Sales, Universal Studios Canada Inc and Aksel Lielmanis, Executive Director, New Release Marketing Warner Bros. UltraViolet cloud video coming to Canada, allows access to videos at home or on-the-go

Following the successful launch and rollout in the United States and the United Kingdom, the DEG is pleased to announce the availability of UltraViolet titles in Canada. Three studios, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment (Total Recall), Universal Studios Home Entertainment (Ted and The Bourne Legacy) and Warner Home Video will all release UltraViolet titles in the fourth quarter 2012.
