Man may have evolved leaps and bounds but the collector’s spirit lives on in a lot of people. The Fiender iPhone app hopes to tap into this side of us. This social-network-cum-marketplace is home to a diverse archive of collectibles. It allows you to upload photos and videos of your collections to show off to fellow Fienders. Or you can sell or trade items from your collection as well. The free app has its unique appraisal feature that provides you with crowdsourced value of your items. You can download the app from iTunes or find out more about it on their site.

Fluid Notes promises smooth note-taking for the iPad
Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at 9:34PM
While it can’t promise to improve your handwriting, Fluid Notes will help make the notes you take on your iPad avoid looking like scribbles of a three-year-old kid using a crayon. Its intuitive interface gives you easy access to the tools you need to create your handwritten notes—switching from fountain pens, to ball point pens, and even to highlighters or crayons are all just a swipe away.
This app has its own bookshelf to help keep your notebooks organized in any way you want. It lets you work in a magnified view so you won’t need to pinch or squint at your screen as you write. You can export your notes to and from the cloud using apps like DropBox, Evernote, Box, and Google Drive. And you can even write on PDF files as if you were just writing on paper. If you want to find out more about this free app, click here.

Adobe's loss, it seems, is Apple's gain. Former Adobe CTO and visionary Kevin Lynch is reportedly headed to Apple to take on the VP of technology position which will put the industry veteran and cloud-computing impresario in the middle of Apple's prominent cloud, ecosystem and application product nucleus. Prior to Adobe, Lynch was with Macromedia which originated Flash and Shockwave.
