MonoNeon’s colourful take on the Beosound A9 speaker

Photos: Bang & Olufsen

Bang & Olufsen has collaborated with another world-renowned artist to reimagine its iconic Beosound A9 speaker. After David Lynch, the Danish audio brand has tapped Grammy Award-winning bassist MonoNeon for a limited-edition design that reflects his unique musical and artistic vision.

MonoNeon is known for his avant-garde playing style and his vibrant wardrobe that often features patchwork, embroidery, and a bright palette. He wanted the speaker to represent chords on canvas, and he achieved that by covering the A9, which already resembles a canvas on an easel, with a trippy floral pattern that has a retro-futuristic vibe.

Source: Bang & Olufsen

This new Bang & Olufsen speaker can hide quite well with your book collection. The new Beosound Emerge is designed to look like it'll belong in your library. But it's thinner in front or the spine-like part, and then it widens as you go deeper.

As Mashable points out, this design should offer a better audio experience—with higher sound frequencies coming out through the front via a 14-millimetre tweeter and the lower frequencies are pushed by a 100-millimetre, side-firing woofer that's guided to the back.

This exorbitant Bang & Olufsen TV has moving mechanical ‘wing speakers’

Who says only phones can fold? Bang & Olufsen’s newest premium TV decides it wants in on the folding action. The Beovision Harmony TV has mechanical, rotating panel speakers that unfold like butterfly wings when you turn it on. It follows in the footsteps of the Samsung Frame TV and LG rollable OLED TV in making these television as part of a room’s design. While these two try to hide the TV part when not in use, you can’t exactly mask the Beovision Harmony TV. There is an element of drama to it still. The TV panel, which uses LG’s 77-inch C9 OLED screen, is partially hidden by the folding speakers when it isn’t in use. Turn the TV on and the screen lifts and the speakers fan out and down similar to a butterfly opening its wings.
