Uber admits that 815,000 Canadians are affected by the data breach

Uber has admitted that more than 815,000 of their Canadian customers have had their data compromised by the data breach which Uber is accused of having tried to cover up.

Customer information that was exposed in the data breach includes the names, email addresses and mobile phone numbers of customers. It is not known if credit card orother payment information. The data breach saw the theft of information from some 57 million Uber accounts globally in October 2016. Uber reportedly paid off the hackers $100,000 to delete the data and keep the breach hidden from the public.

Of all the Android smartphone OEMs, LG is notorious for not having any continuity in its design or really investing into long term plans for their devices. Not only are they slow to update Android OS udpates on their mobile devices, each smartphone they release seems completely different from the one they released a year earlier.

Fitbit Force fitness tracker recalled for skin irritation issues

Fitbit is recalling its flagship fitness tracker, the Fitbit Force, because it is causing some users to get skin rashes, which is definitely an issue for a device that's designed to be worn all day and even at night. Existing Fitbit Force units are being recalled and refunds are being issued. Early build issues seem to be a recurring problem for these wearable devices, remember the Jawbone Up was recalled for numerous glitches last year. Breaking: BlackBerry halts rollout of BBM on iPhone and Android

BlackBerry has decided to stop the rollout of its BlackBerry Messenger App on iOS and Android indefinitely. After sending out a press releases days ago promising  that they would begin seeding the versions of the app on Google Play this morning and on the iOS App Store by tomorrow, it seems the big launch has been halted because of a number of problems.
