These Bethesda games will get an FPS boost on Xbox

Source: Bethesda

When Microsoft launched the Xbox Series X and S in February, it added an FPS boost feature to improve backwards-compatible Xbox One titles on the new consoles. However, when it was introduced, only five titles received that upgrade. Now, five other Bethesda games will be getting a frame rate boost on the Xbox Series X and S: Fallout 4Fallout 76PreyThe Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition, and Dishonored: Definitive Edition.

These games will see their frame rates double from 30 to 60 frames per second, with some playable even at 120fps. It isn't known though when these titles will be getting the upgrade, but Engadget speculates it could come with the next major update of the new consoles.

‘Fallout Shelter’ to land on Android on August 13th

You have less than a month’s wait if you’ve been keeping your eye out for the Android debut of Fallout Shelter. The first-ever mobile game from Bethesda Game Studios is designed to promote the upcoming Fallout 4 release. The free-to-play game has you taking care of residents in your own post-apocalyptic Vault-Tec Vault. You need to find supplies and make sure the residents aren’t happy and won’t wreck the place. Fallout Shelter first came out on iOS in June.
