LG's 4K HDTV range encompasses some newer IPS sets as well as the truly innovative OLED 4K HDTVs that also offer curved design. LG says that unlike other companies' curved screen technologies, curved screens are a natural application of OLED technology. The best news is that LG is bullish about making 4K HDTVs more affordable while maintaining the highest quality standards and features that users look for the most. CES 2013: Samsung ups the ante on SmartTVs in Las Vegas with quad-core processors and apps

Samsung didn't go for the jugular during their yearly CES press event earlier today. They could have announced a new killer smartphone or even a new Phablet. Instead, they noted that the Samsung Galaxy S3 was the world's best selling smartphone and then went on to talk about HDTVs, appliances, cameras and their quest to reinvent HDTV with apps and quad core processors.
